Where do you get your ingredients?

At Ethereal Therapy we only use the highest quality and freshest of ingredients. Our essential oils are supplied by, with very few exceptions, Liberty Natural in the US. This is the only company to our knowledge, which can supply a Certificate of Analysis for every essential oil we use. The Certificate of Analysis ensures that we are purchasing only the highest quality and the freshest of essential oils.

How do I know if I have dry and weeping eczema, psoriasis or contact dermatitis?

It is extremely difficult to diagnose accurately the difference between dry and weeping eczema, psoriasis or contact dermatitis; even for trained physicians. In fact, we have frequently run into patients who have been misdiagnosed.

Each one of our products will only work to cure an individual condition. Hence, the weeping eczema kit, only works on weeping eczema, the psoriasis kits only work on psoriasis, and so on. We have now added four contact dermatitis mixtures to help even that very difficult condition.

With this in mind we begin treatment based on what the physician has diagnosed. If this product is not working, we try one of the other products until we find the one that works to clear up the individual's eczema, psoriasis or contact dermatitis.

Why is goat's milk beneficial to my skin?

Goat's milk does wonders for an individual's skin.

One of the main reasons for goat milk's success is because of PH. Our skin is slightly acidic and has a PH of 5.5. By using goat's milk in our soap, we create a soap that has a value of between 6.2 and 6.3, very close to the skin's natural PH. Commercial soaps have a PH of between 8.5 and 10.5.

Why does this matter? If you are using soap with a PH of 8.5 (which is a base) on your skin with a PH of 5.5 (which is acidic) there is a chemical reaction that takes place between the base and the acid. This is why people with sensitive skin react poorly to commercial soap.

Goat's milk also has alpha hydroxyl acid, a naturally occurring acid in goat's milk; this dissolves dead skin cells. When you remove the dead skin cells, your skin looks healthier and fresher. In addition, goat's milk contains a variety of minerals and vitamins that are good for the skin which are absorbed by simply rubbing the skin with the goat's milk soap. The minerals and vitamins are absorbed into the pores, where they help to build healthier skin.

If a product is sold out, how soon will it be available?

All of the pain and healing oils are blended as required, so they are always fresh and always available.

The only product we run out of from time to time are our goat milk soap bars. This is because we dry the bars for no less than 3 months and sometimes even up to 4 months. The reason for this is, that cold processed bars may appear to be dry on the outside, but may still be wet on the inside. This means that they dissolve very rapidly. Most bars will have a maximum of 2-3 months wait time. Baby's Own can be produced in 5 weeks. because it is mainly made of olive oil, which will dry internally in about a month.
